The man was a member of themed hacking forums. Typically, customers made an order to purchase relevant information on crossing the customs border of Ukraine by both individuals and legal entities, as well as goods and cargo.

The cost of one such information was $ 3,000. For anonymization, all calculations took place in cryptocurrency, and communication with the customer was through classified channels of instant messengers.

The cyberpolice caught the State Customs Service database merchant. The

cyberpolice searched the criminal's house. Seized flash media and computer equipment are sent for examination.

Now the police are establishing how the leak of official information with limited access occurred.

On this fact, criminal proceedings under Art. 361-2 (unauthorized sale or distribution of information with limited access, which is stored in computers, automated systems, computer networks or on the media of such information) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The man faces up to 2 years in prison, reports the Department of Cyber Police of Ukraine.
