A court in the US state of Florida sentenced two Russian citizens, brothers Igor and Denis Grushko to 12 years in prison for fraud with bank cards. 24-year-old Ukrainian Vadim Wozniuk was also sentenced to a real term.

The statement said that the Grushko brothers until recently lived in the city of Fort Lauderdale (Florida), reports TASS.

33-year-old Igor Grushko and 29-year-old brother Denis were accused of theft of personal information in aggravating circumstances, conspiracy to use stolen credit cards, as well as in the manufacture of fake credit cards and false identity documents.

According to the office of the federal prosecutor, during the searches of the brothers' apartment, dozens of readers were found for installation in ATMs, hidden cameras and other devices that are used to steal credit card numbers and produce fake duplicate cards. Also in their home they found whole sheets of holograms for making fake identity cards, hundreds of fake credit cards and thousands of credit card numbers, RIA Novosti reports.

The court found it proved that the Grushko brothers conspired with their acquaintance, a citizen of Ukraine, 24-year-old Vadim Wozniuk. The court also agreed that Grushko and Wozniuk had stolen private information from hundreds of Florida residents.

It is noted that they directed the illegal proceeds to purchase electronics in local stores.

The Ukrainian received one year and three months in prison on charges of conspiracy to use stolen credit cards.
