The crypto hacker managed to get $1.76 million in rewards. Crema Finance, the first dedicated liquidity protocol on the Solana blockchain, recently faced a major attack that resulted in the loss of $9 million worth of cryptocurrency. However, Crema Finance managed to reclaim its fortune. After a hacker managed to steal $9M via Solend flash loans, the stolen Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) were successfully traced. A little later, an address was established, presumably belonging to the hacker. Crema Finance refrained from contacting the authorities and contacted the scammer immediately. After long and difficult negotiations between the hacker and the company, an agreement was reached. Representatives of the company called the hacker a "white hat".

The crypto hacker managed to get 45,455 Solans (SOL) as a reward, which is $1.76 million. The remaining $7.3 million in stolen ETH and SOL were returned.

“After lengthy negotiations, the hacker agreed to keep 45,455 SOL as a reward for the white hat. We confirm receipt of 6,064 ETH and 23,967.9 SOL in four transactions,” Crema Finance said.

Initially, the hacker was offered a reward of $800,000, but the attacker did not agree, and the amount was doubled.
