Cyberpolice reports the termination of the activities of scammers who, using their own call center, stole money from Ukrainians. In a week they managed to "earn" 3 million UAH.

The office of criminals was in Zaporizhia and conducted activities in the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Using psychological pressure, fraudsters lured funds from their victims. On average, each employee managed to call more than 100 people per day. The organizers of the group were three local residents aged 20 to 24 years. In total, the company employed about 100 people. They bought victims' contacts on DarkNet in the form of customer databases. And in the conversation they introduced themselves as bank security officers. So they managed to get the details of payment cards, and then use them to withdraw funds.

As a result of a search in the office of scammers, law enforcement officers seized computer equipment, mobile phones, customer bases and draft records. All equipment was sent for examination. After receiving the results of all examinations, the issue of declaring suspicion to the members of the criminal group will be resolved. They face up to 8 years in prison.
